Katerina’s Poem

Night is beautiful

Isn't it Katerina ?

Dream visits tired pilgrim

Beating clocks loudly announces every hour

Sweeping old dust in messy room

Full of daybreak with forgotten songs from the past

Road in the dark without moon and the stars

To show you the way, so you walk blindly

Stumbling upon the fallen branches

And root of old trees

Be a morning

Little Katerina

Promise of new beginings

Chanting with seagulls about far countries behinds blue seas

Merciful dew mourning over burned meadows

Clouds wandering across the sky – will it rain?

Answer is hidden within the circle of ancient stories

Be a river

Wise Katerina

Bring life to lusting deserts

Carve rocks into the cave sculptures

With one truth and thousands meanings

Rafters would cross your veins

To continue their roads on the other bank

Questions past, present and future

Tangled in your hair.

Be a flower

Beautiful Katerina

Attract bee swarms in your princess robe

Turn to the sun with anticipation of spring

After the long winter

Roses give no shadow for a man

Sitting in the garden,

But fill him with praise for the Creator.

Be a dream

Sleeping Katerina

Travelling on a wings of prayer

Taste like wine – refreshing and heady
